Pastoral Care Team

A team of trained pastoral care visitors are accredited with local hospitals to meet with those who are ill. Members of the team also visit shut-ins and administer communion. Training is provided.

Phone Prayer Group

This is a group of dedicated people who pray for the needs of anyone who asks. Confidential requests for prayer are phoned to the coordinator who passes them to the members of the prayer team. Anyone carrying a burden, or who has a burden on their heart for someone else can request prayer.

Nursing & Long Term Care Homes

Canon George holds monthly worship services in some of the local Residences. New team members are always welcome, to help the residents get to the services and back to their rooms. Please leave your name with the office if you are interested..

Visioning 2024 is underway!

2024 Ongoing: The Parish is currently engaged in a visioning exercise that will involve a thorough review of all aspects of our church life in order to discern future directions and roles. The visioning process will help us to define the parish’s goals and establish priorities. A consultation exercise will be conducted in September 2024.
